The coop has the best wings in DSM as far as I've seen. They're grilled not fried and their barbecue sauces are top notch. My favorite sauces are Jamaican jerk and buck nasty. Waitstaff is very friendly on top of everything.
Service was tremendous, food was just okay. Their boneless wings were huge but had no flavor. The sauce was too much and there was a puddle on the wrapper of left over sauce. Nothing seemed like it was homemade but rather just normal bar food. For a place that is supposedly known in the metro for their wings they sure were average. But still better than Buffalo Wild Wings but that isn't saying much. 3 stars are for the service if food was anything remotely better this place would get more.
Great place to watch any sporting event. Plenty of TVs that can be watched from any seat in the place. The wings are wood grilled and have great flavor. The sampler platter appetizer is a great option for people who don't know what they want. The only issue I have and the reason for 4 stars is that if it is busy, you usually have to fend for yourself on getting the next open table, the staff is great, but rarely helps keep order with the people waiting for a table by the door.
Way too busy. Understaffed for lunch. Food was fine. Just took a long time to get. And for $15 for a drink and Tyson wings seemed high. Compared to other places, I'd go elsewhere first. The one in West Des Moines is much better.
Loved the atmosphere. Music playing was amazing could listen all day. Food was generous portions value for your money. Service fantastic. Everything you want in a great eating place. Make sure to check it out.
